Ghee For HairHealthy hair means reduced stress and more confidence. For most people, good hair days are always better than the rest. But if you're spending hundreds of bucks on conditioners, shampoos, and other hairstyle products, then it's time to think again. Instead of flooding your hair with chemicals and paying a price for it, you can choose a natural home product; desi cow ghee. Yes, ghee is good for hair and brings multiple benefits. Read on to learn how you can use ghee for hair health.

Is ghee good for hair?

Ghee has its roots traced to India and has been a part of Ayurveda. Animal trials using ghee also point to its effectiveness as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent.

Massaging hair with ghee benefits the hair follicle health. There are several ways to use ghee on hair for different purposes. Check out the following methods:

Ways to use ghee for hair

Massaging your hair with warm ghee will enable smooth blood circulation to the scalp. This promotes better hair growth as it keeps hair healthy, thick, and long

2. Ghee With almond oil and lemon to fight dandruff

Ghee has plenty of antioxidants. This helps combat free radicals and other microbial infections. Hence, it protects you from a dry and itchy scalp caused by the loss of moisture.

Using ghee with almonds and lemon keeps dandruff at bay. Mix 2 tablespoons of ghee, 1 teaspoon almond oil, and a teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply this to your scalp and let it stay for one hour. Finally, rinse it off with a shampoo.

Experts recommend daily use of this in summers and twice every week in winters for best results.

3. Ghee with olive oil as a natural conditioner

Ghee can also act as a natural conditioning agent when used with olive oil. When used regularly, it helps your hair get smoother and softer. Mix 2 tablespoons of ghee with a tablespoon of olive oil and apply it to your hair. It will also improve your hair texture.

You can also prepare a conditioner by mixing 3-4 teaspoons of ghee with 1 teaspoon each of aloe vera and olive oil. Leave it on for a couple of hours before rinsing it off with a mild shampoo. This prevents hair from getting split ends and frizziness.

4. Ghee With Coconut oil as a rejuvenating agent

For people with curly and dry hair, ghee therapy is an excellent natural remedy.

Mix one tablespoon of ghee with the same amount of cold-pressed coconut oil. Apply it as a hair mask over your entire hair. After this, use a sulphate-free shampoo to wash it away. This allows more moisture to remain in your hair. Do this at least once a week for the best results.
