Founded in 2020 by 3 IIT Guwahati graduates, Aayushi Khandelwal, Akhil Kansal and Kuldeep Parewa, Anveshan provides minimally processed food products prepared traditionally in rural areas. Our brand aims to deploy tech solutions to become 100% transparent, traceable and quality controlled at every supply chain step. As a result, the consumers can know the complete farm-to-fork journey and quality reports about any Anveshan product they have purchased.
We are thrilled to share that our D2C healthy foods brand has raised pre-series A funding of $2 million led by DSG Consumer Partners, Force Ventures and We Founder Circle. This funding round also had participation from angels, including Amit Jain and Amit Hooja from Netgraph, Vardhman Group, Rahul Sharma from Zetwerk and many more.
We will use the fresh capital to hire talent, standardise operational processes and R&D of existing and new product categories. We also plan to expand our reach in the premium retail stores of Mumbai, Delhi NCR, and Bengaluru.
Our vision has always been clear: to increase farmers' income by adding value to their produce and empowering them at every step. We are a community of farmer families (Anveshan village micro-entrepreneurs) spread across India. We have set up micro food processing units near the farms. This has helped us generate rural employment, facilitate fair trade with the farmers, provide them with resources and eradicate intermediaries from the supply chain. In addition, we aim to ensure health by delivering high-quality natural, healthy traditional superfoods to every house in India.
